What is BVN?
Bank Verification Number (BVN) is an eleven (11) digit unique number given to individuals by bank to help reduce fraud, illegal banking transactions and identity owners of account. You can change your BVN details online without going to bank. All you need to-do is visit NIBBS Official website and make the changes. In some case, you will need to visit the bank if the change requires biometric enrollment or verification.

To Check your Bank Verification Number (BNV) with ussd code, dial *565*0# from the phone number linked to your BVN. This code works on all mobile networks in Nigeria.
Note: You must have atleast #50 airtime in your phone to complete this process.
