The WAEC grading system and requirements is that candidate must have minimum of 5 credits including Math and English compulsorily.
- For candidate that wants to study Medicine, Nursing, Botany, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) and other medical sciences or pure sciences, you must score credit 5 credits in the following subjects Math, English, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
- For candidate that wants to study Art Courses such as English, Philosophy, Political Science, Literature in English, Linguistics and other Art Courses, you must score Credit in English, Math, Government , Literature and 1credit in any other Pure Art or social courses.
- For candidate that wants to study Engineering and computer related courses, you must have 5 credits in English, Math, Biology, Physics and another science course.
- For candidate that wants to study either management or social science courses such as Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration etc. You must score 5 credits in Math, English, Economics and other Subjects like Commerce, Account, Geography etc.
- For candidate who wants to study Agriculture related courses, you must have 5 credit in English, Math, Agricultural Science, Biology and either chemistry or Physics.
- For candidate that wishes to study Education Courses you must score 5 credit in English, Math and other 3 related Art or social science subjects.
